Kris is a Singaporean screenwriter and script consultant whose experience working with international studios, as well as independent and arthouse producers reflects her love for different stories and the varied audiences who enjoy them.

She has developed projects with Netflix, AppleTV, BBC One, HBOAsia, and is the co-creator and writer of "Red Butterfly," a television series in development at StudioCanal and Canal+. Her “thing” is cross-cultural stories as a means of dialectical enquiry and exploration of the human heart. Her writing work include the Singapore/Korean feature film "Ajoomma," (2022) directed by He Shuming and executive produced by Anthony Chen, for which she was nominated for a Golden Horse Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Her recent consulting work includes "9 Temples to Heaven" by Sompot Chidgasornpongse, and the Finland/Norway/Singapore/South Korea television series "Blueprint of a Crime."

She was the co-founder and a director of Asian film and TV company Momo Film Co, part of Beach House Pictures and Fremantle from 2018-2024, and is a former alumnus of Sundance Intensive Asia 2021, Documentary Dojo 2019 and Southeast Asian Film Lab as part of SGIFF.

She has also directed several short films which have collectively been screened at over 30 film festivals.
